I don't tend to choose things because they are easy. I like the more pure approach. If I chose the easiest route, I don't think I would ever get anywhere in life.

I've been in all kinds of tough ones. I've fallen 20 feet into a crevasse, been knocked unconscious, stuff you can't avoid. I do all the little things.

I hate to say it, but I'll bring my chemistry book. I really need to polish up on my chemistry. I play the drums. We'll pull out pots and pans and play those.

I'd like to see how high we get. Maybe we can't get to the summit without (oxygen). Then, we'll go down to the base camp and get oxygen. I'd rather make it with oxygen than not make it at all.
